WHAT WE DO
You will have the opportunity to spend time within our purpose built dog sanctuary, helping to look after, train and eventually re-home any dog that is in need. Not only this, but you will be able to immerse yourself in the culture of Tanzania as you spend time working along side the unique Maasai. With their iconic brightly coloured wraps and their distinctive dances, interacting with the Maasai is as every bit as memorable as any landscape or big five encounter.
WHAT WE DO
We operate across multiple life-saving and community-strengthening pillars:
Spay and Neuter Programs
We conduct sterilization campaigns to control the growing street dog population, reducing suffering and disease transmission.
Rabies Vaccination Drives
We vaccinate rescued and local street dogs to protect communities and animals from rabies still a deadly threat in Tanzania.
Community Service & Outreach
We collaborate with Maasai leaders and local families to raise awareness, offer animal care training, and build empathy through education.
Rescue Operations
From roadside emergencies to long-term abuse cases, we actively rescue injured, abandoned, and sick dogs.
Rehabilitation
Every rescued dog receives a full recovery plan food, shelter, medical care, and social rehabilitation.
Rehoming & Adoption Program
We find safe, loving homes for healthy dogs and ensure adopters are well prepared to offer a forever family.
Education Campaigns
We teach dog welfare in schools, villages, and public events laying the foundation for a more compassionate society.
Adoption Retention Program
We follow up with adopters, provide support, and ensure sustainable integration of dogs into their new homes.
